From the West:

Approach from West – A69

• Proceed to Denton Hotel roundabout (approximately ½ mile beyond end of dual carriageway)
• Continue over the roundabout and uphill on the A186 – houses on your left 40-mile an hour area.  At top of hill becomes 30 mile an hour area.  Shops on left and Fox & Hounds pub on left.  Go through traffic lights and at Wingrove Garage (Citroen) turn left at roundabout A1305
• Continue over mini-roundabout (West End Church) on left and go through next set of traffic lights to Cowgate roundabout
• At Cowgate roundabout (Morrisons on right) turn right and follow roundabout – take 2nd turning off A167 City Centre.  Keep in left lane (KFC on left).  Continue to Cow Hill roundabout and follow left slipway A187 City North and Ashington
• Continue on this road (50 mile an hour) fields on left and right to traffic lights.  Continue through traffic lights to next roundabout (Blue House).  Turn right and follow B1318 City Centre
• Follow this road to next traffic lights and turn left (Forsyth Road)
• Continue down Forsyth Road.  Houses on both side of road.  At end of houses turn right then bend sharp left past West Jesmond Primary School now on you right (red brick building)
• Continue along this road (Tankerville Terrace) and with houses on your left, wall to you right, Northern Counties School entrance and car park is on you right hand side
