From the South:

Approach from South on A19

• At end of A19 follow sign for Gateshead A1184 – pass Testo’s Garage
• Continue along A184 to Heworth roundabout and Metro Station (on left)
• Continue along A184 – pass Gateshead Stadium (on right)
• At large roundabout follow A167 Newcastle sign (3rd exit)
• Proceed over Tyne Bridge and on to central motorway
• Pass through 2 underpasses and move to outside lane
• Follow signs (bear right) to Tynemouth and Coast (A1058)
• Road takes a sharp right bend
• Move to left inside lane as you approach and turn left at the traffics lights onto Osborne Road
• Proceed up Osborne Road over first set of lights (crossroads)
• Take next turn on left (Haldane Terrace)
• Proceed to end of Haldane Terrace (Church High School is opposite)
• Turn right up Tankerville Terrace
• Northern Counties School is a few hundred yards on the left

Visitors car park located at the front of the building. Wear House is second building on the left hand side.

Approach from South on A1(M)

Immediately after Washington Services Area, bear left at the Motorway Junction on to A1-Gateshead and keep to nearside lane on to A167 for Gateshead South then follow as above from point 4
